Cookie Policy

How General Augment uses necessary, analytics, and advertising cookies or browser storage.

Last updated May 7, 2026

Necessary storage

Necessary cookies or browser storage keep the site working, preserve security state, remember cookie choices, and support sign-in or dashboard sessions.

Analytics storage

Analytics storage is optional. When allowed, General Augment may use PostHog and similar analytics tools to understand pageviews, product events, and conversion paths.

Advertising storage

Advertising storage is optional. It is reserved for future retargeting or campaign measurement tags such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, or Meta after explicit consent.

Browser privacy signals

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, General Augment keeps advertising storage denied even if an older preference allowed it. Analytics still requires your explicit choice.

What we avoid

We do not intentionally send raw API keys, provider tokens, model prompts, tool payloads, or unredacted customer content to marketing analytics.

Changing choices

You can update browser storage directly or contact support for privacy help while the public preference center is expanded.

This page is product information for an early-stage service and is not legal advice. Counsel should review it before broad public launch or paid retargeting.
